"Indonesian Government has established the COVID-19 Mitigation and the National Economic Recovery Committee to replace the Task Force to accelerate the mitigation of the COVID-19 pandemic. The new ad hoc team consists of three elements, namely the Policy Committee, the Task Force of the COVID-19 Mitigation, and the Task Force of the National Economic Recovery and Transformation. Containing the pandemic is the first priority for Indonesia. Vaccination is required for 70% of the population to achieve herd immunity.  Secondly, to support the economy during and after pandemic, the Government has issued several policies including fiscal and non-fiscal stimulus, monetary and financial policies, as well as various safety nets in health, social, and economic sector as well as for recovery phase. International investors and business sectors can benefit from the tax relaxation, simplification of import and export restriction, as well as other support and facilitation in monetary and financial policies to help foreign companies cope with the situation."
